Speaking about his team and teammates Mr. Banerjee said, “We were the champions in the 2007 edition and that time we had Sunil Chhetri in our side and he finished the top scorer while I was adjudged the best player of the tournament.

“Our team consists of members like Atanu, Anupam Mitra, Subhajit Poddar and Moloy. While Atanu had represented Tollygunj Agragami and I was a part of the East Bengal junior team in 1994.”

The tournament will also feature some other top notch corporate teams. Sharing his views about the preparations he said, “Our chairman has focused on maintaining a permanent football team as we participate in tournaments round the year.

"Moreover we recruit people looking at the extra curricular activities and football takes the centre stage. We hold regular practice sessions and we want to do well in this tournament like last time.”

Infinity team will be boosted by the presence of East Bengal midfielder Mehtab Hussain.

Commenting on the star in their team Mr.Banerjee mentioned, “We are very happy to have Mr.Mehtab Hussain in our side. He played very well this season with East Bengal so we hope to use his expertise properly.”

The holders have also kept a track of their opponents in the group - Techno India and Praxis.

“We know both Techno India and Praxis but I feel teams like PWC and Descon will be a tough nut to crack once we advance to the knock out stages.”

Indian national team defender Deepak Mandal will be their star player. Sharing his pleasure to have Mandal in the team, Mr.Guha said, “We are pleased to have an experienced player like Deepak Mandal with us. We shall use him for the giving us his opinion on how to crack the opponent as he has a good game reading ability.”
