William MartinTomorrow will begin another season of men’s futsal at the Astumbo School Gymnasium, promising to provide six weeks of summer competition.
The Guam Football Association’s 2010 Calvo Men’s Futsal League will begin tomorrow at the gymnasium with three games featuring fan favorites, according to a Monday press release from the league.
Featuring eight teams futsal fans know and love, competition begins at 7 p.m. between Quality Distributors and F.C. Guahan.
An 8 p.m. match-up between the Cobras and the Paintco Strykers will follow, while a final game will occur at 9 p.m. between Guam Shipyard and Deyo.
Games will continue every Thursday and Sunday until an August 1 championship and consolation match, according to the provided schedule.
All Thursday games will adhere to the above schedule, while Sunday games will begin at 12 noon and run until 3 p.m., with games occurring every hour.
