Orphans Attend Futsal Clinic, Receive Jerseys

Bandar Seri Begawan - In Conjunction with the World Cup 2010 currently being held in South Africa, some 50 orphans from the Brunei Muara District were given an opportunity to learn the correct techniques of playing futsal at a Futsal clinic held yesterday courtesy of the DST Group.

Officials from the Brunei Veteran Football Association were on hand to help the kids who were aged between nine and 12 years of age, to better grasp the sport of futsal. The children were split into five teams representing South Africa, Brazil, Italy, Spain and England.

Prior to the start of the clinic, each child was presented with a jersey from one of the world cup teams, by the Group Development Officer of DST, Awang Marsad bin Hj Ismail.
