Cup and League: double achieved for Athina '90!

Athina '90 made the double! Despite the draw 4-4 (ht 1-1) in Politia sport hall the green and white club could conquer one more title! It's the 10th championship triumph for the dominant club of Hellenic Futsal, which came after an impressive record of 27 wins and one draw (just in the second leg final) during the whole season.

Balanced game in the first half, both teams were pressing to make difficult the way of playing of the opponent. There were 2-3 chances to score for each team, but Begaj through a long distance shoot made the 1-0 for Athina 90. Mostrios equalized for Doukas after a mistake by the Athina's 90 defence, just few minutes before the half time.

Athina '90 entered the second half stronger and more effective, scoring with Theodoropoulos with a nice right-planning on a counterattack and with Bousmpouras (best player of the finals) to lead 4-1 through very good efforts. After that point Doukas played better and reduced the gap with Mohahmed: 4-2.

Minute by minute the game rapidly became more "anarchic" and Athina'90 allowed Doukas to score two more goals fixing the final score on a 4-4 tie through Gritzalis and Karathanasopoulos: not enough considering that Athina '90 won the first final by 2-4.
