The championship of Asia has lifted popularity futsal in Uzbekistan

The last championship of Asia on futsal has managed to collect all fans of Uzbekistan who in a uniform impulse rejoiced and endured all victories of the favorite team.

The overflowed tribunes of two stadiums helped players to act well and to score goals. It is necessary to notice that for the first time on tournament there was only one heavy defeat (Iran-Tajikistan-19:2), while all other matches were extremely balanced.

"We were helped very much by fans" - reports Uzbek international player Hurshid Tadjibaev. "There were moments when we conceded chances to our opponents, but our fans drove us forward".

"We felt the responsibility" told uzbek goalscorer Fakhriddin Samegov.

Uzbekistan team captain Bahodyr Ahmedov added: "the sport centre "Uzbekistan" contains 3000 spectators and outside of it there were 10.000 futsal fans for the final match. For sure we were aiming at the victory, as in my collection of medals there are both silver and bronze ones, but unfortunately it was not possible. It's a pity missing such a triumph at home, but the main thing is that our tournament have tremendously lifted popularity of futsal in Uzbekistan."
