Azerbaijani futsal team may play Armenia in UEFA cup

A draw has been held in UEFA cup in 2010/2011 futsal season in Swiss Nyon.

According to News.Az, Azerbaijan will be represented by the champion of the country, Naxcivan's Araz, which took the third place in the last UEFA Cup.

Araz will start competition in the main round. Our team is in group 3 along with FK Nikars Riga (Lithuania), City US Targu Mures (Romania) and winner preliminary round Group A that involves FK Nautara Kaunas (Lithuania), FC Kaghsi Yerevan (Armenia) and Sporting Fingal FC (Ireland). Thus Araz and Armenian team are likely to play.

The matches with participation of Araz will be held in Romania in period from September 25 until October 3. Two best teams will reach the elite round.
