The Malay MailCelcom futsal and fiesta to end World Cup 2010Wednesday, July 7th, 2010SUBANG JAYA: Celcom Futsal Championship and Fiesta will be held in tandem with the end of the 2010 FIFA World Cup this weekend at Jalan SS16/11, next to Subang Parade, here.
The event will see 32 futsal teams battling it out for the grand prize of RM30,000, while teams placed second, third and fourth will get RM16,000, RM8,000 and RM4,000 respectively.
Moving to the beat of the World Cup theme song, the public are invited to dance along with Celcom's bear mascots at 12.45am on July 12, before a prize-giving ceremony.
RTM is also joining the fiesta with their 'live' telecast of the 2010 FIFA World Cup final match, via a 60-by-90 feet screen said to be the largest in Asia (the final match comes on at 2.30am on July 12).
The fiesta is open to the public.
