36 Teams In Futsal Challenge

Bandar SeriBegawan - The Ford Futsal Challenge Trophy 2010 in conjunction with His Majesty's birthday Celebration started last night at the Universiti Brunei Darussalam Sports Complex.

Thirty-six teams joined the tournament and were divided into six groups. In Group A are DSP, Beribi Warrior A, Puspa FC B, UBD and PPS. In Group B are Fuyoo, Kashful MFT, Syahkampong, Maroon 5, Kota Junior and Ford All Stars A.

In Group C are Red butterfly FC, Star Madang, Tasruft FT, Najip FC, NSQ FC and Creativol. In Group D are Shah United, Mix Fruitz, Arbisyam FC, Rizfiz, Venum FT and Football Crazy.

In Group E are Warriors Satria, PHMJ FT, Futsalistik, E Green, Beribi Warrior B and Bakat 6 O'clock FT.

In Group F are Puspa FC A, Team Media Permata, GAZ FC, FC Phosphor, Pega Star, 77 Street and STDB.

Director of Premier Automobiles Sdn Bhd, Mr Teng Chee Khiong read the welcoming speech.

Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Laila Diraja Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hazair bin Haji Abdullah, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, officiated the opening ceremony.

The final of the tournament will be on July 16
