UCC will represent the WSCAI at the European Universities Futsal Championship

In Zagreb, Croatia between the 18th and 25th July 2010.

University College Cork Women's futsal team will compete for the first ever European Universities Futsal Championship for women. It is the seventh European Universities Futsal Championship for men and IT Carlow will represent the IUFU.

UCC qualify for the tournament after wining the Women's Soccer Colleges Association of Ireland national futsal title, overcoming University College Dublin in the cup final back in January 2010 at the Kingsfield Sports Centre, National University of Ireland, Galway.

UCC will compete against national university futsal champions from Croatia, Finland, France, Norway, Poland, Portugal and Turkey in the hope of been crowned 2010 Women's European Universities Futsal Champions!
