Gilligan to assist Fiji Futsal

Former Australian Futsal team coach, Scott Gilligan is in the country to assist Fiji Futsal team for the upcoming OFC Futsal Championship.

Fiji Football Associations, National Technical Director, Sayed Ali confirmed Gilligan will work as a technical advisor and he is expected to teach new skills and rules of futsal soccer to our players.

The National futsal team marched into camp yesterday and will undergo intense training program for whole of the week.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed the 15 players that have been selected to be part of the National futsal team will not be allowed to feature for their respective districts in the National soccer league games from this week.

The OFC Futsal Championship will start on the 8th of next month at the Vodafone Arena.
