Futsal Club Spruces Up Abandoned Cemetery

Bandar Seri Begawan - In conjunction with the upcoming holy month of Ramadhan, religious activities have been lined up to welcome the much-awaited fasting month.

The Futsal Club of the Youth and Sports Department at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports over the weekend took the opportunity to hold a cleaning campaign at the abandoned Muslim cemetery at the vicinity of the Hassanal Bolkiah Sports Complex in Jalan Berakas.

About 30 members gathered and cleared the abandoned cemetery over the weekend.

Prior to commencing the cleaning campaign, a tahlil and prayers were recited.
