Fialova LufBru Games Futsal Champion

Begawan - Fialova were the LufBru 4th Summer Games futsal champion after defeating Santos in the final at the University of Brunei Darussalam Sport Complex on Sunday.

LufBru Entourage were third in the tournament participated by 16 teams divided into four groups.

In Group A were PPBH FC, Ash, Joga and Relentless while in Group B were Maxin FC, Bru Brad, LufBru Entourage and Hanna FC.

In Group C were Sakura, Fialova, LufBru Legacy and Santos and in Group D were Super Dry, DSP, Eusinophile and Chicken Cottage.

Fialova received a replica of Coupe Du Monde Trophy, medals and $400 cash prize. Santos received medals and $300 cash prize while LufBru Entourage gold medals and $200 cash prize.

Hj Aziz bin Hj Nayan, Assistant Director of Scholarship Fund, Ministry of Education presented the prizes to the winners.

The LufBru 4th Summer Games was organized by the Loughborough Students Union Brunei Society and supported by Ministry of Education, Brunei Darussalam.

The three-day event was sponsored by Brunei LNG, QAF Brunei, Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Foundation, Brunei Islamic Bank Berhad (BIBD), Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB) (Platinum Sponsors), TelBru (Gold Sponsor), British Council, Sunlit Advertising (Silver Sponsors), UNIBRU Enterprise and Loughborough University (Bronze Sponsors).
