Two Romanians join Malta champions ZC Excess

Futsal local champions ZC Excess have made two foreign additions to their team ahead of their participation in the UEFA Futsal Cup Preliminary round next week.

ZC Excess’ new signings are Gabriel Dobre and Emil Raducu, both from Romania. The Malta champions now have six foreigners in their squad.

The news was revealed by team coach Florin Anton during a press conference in Sliema yesterday.

Anton is confident that his team will win this tournament and advance to the main round.

The Tournament is being played at the Cottonera Sports Complex between 16 and 19 August.

ZC Excess will be playing against Danish side BGA Futsal on Monday, against Albanian champions KF Tirana on Tuesday and against FS Ives Tampera from Finland on the last day.

Also present for the conference were Tournament Director Mark Borg, Malta Futsal national coach Vic Hermans as well as new MFA president Norman Darmanin Demajo.
