A Futsal supporter Henry Misitana has called on the responsible authority to put in place a development plan for the sport.

The development plan includes building of a Futsal stadium, gym, competitions, coaching and strengthening programs.

He said Futsal is a gifted game for Solomon Islands and while we given the gift we should put in place development plant for it.

“I have been following futsal and see that this is the only sport that has achieved great results and reaching the world cup stage,” he said.

Mr Misitana who has been playing indoor games for Manselve College in a second division in Brisbane from 1989-1990 said Futsal players must also be single minded player.

“They should stick together in Futsal until they can reach the semi or final at the world cup before start transferring to outdoor games,” he added.

He believes that if the boys remain in Futsal Solomon Island will one day achieve the greatest results that will become a history for the country.
