Players needed for tournament

FOOTBALLERS are needed to help raise money for a children’s charity.

Barnardo’s has teamed up with the Royal Mail to hold a five-a-side tournament at the @Futsal Arena, in Kembrey Park, in aid of the charity.

The event takes place on Sunday, September 19, from 2pm to 6pm.

Entry is £35 per team (£5 a person) and @Futsal will be donating £15 a team to the charity.

Teams must be made up of five to seven men aged 16 and above.

The competition will take the form of a group and knock-out stage. There will also be a penalty challenge cup and a cross bar challenge and raffle. All proceeds go to Barnardo’s.
