Beskidy Futsal CupThe second edition of the
Beskidy Futsal Cup has ended in middle August. After four days of fierce competition, we now know who won the gold medals and the main prize of €2,000. In the grand final, the host
BTS Rekord beat vice champions of Poland, Hurtap Leczyca 8-5, and turned out to be the best team of the whole tournament. Uragan Ivano-Frankovsk finished third, having defeated champions of Poland, Akademia FC Pniewy after penalty shoot-out 3-1 (the match result was 4-4). The favourite club of the competition, Shakhtar Donetsk took the 5th place, while Makroteam Zylina from Slovakia finished on the 6th position.
Krystian Brzenk from BTS Rekord was voted the best goalkeeper of the games, and the MVP statue went to
Andrij Simka (Uragan Ivano-Frankovsk).
Oleg Miroshnik from Shakhtar Donetsk turned out to be the best striker, while BTS Rekord's player,
Pawel Budniak, was voted the best Young Player of the competition.
Following the great success of the tournament, that have attracted to the city of Bielsko-Biala many fantastic futsal players, and a huge number of spectators, the organizers have already started preparation for the third edition, the
