Chilean futsal development is running fast, or at least this is the aim. After setting up and celebrating the first ever national league, the local ANFP is looking towards the prestigious South American Championship Under 20, that will take place in the colombian city of Itaguí (more details HERE). Just after the national league final conquered by Unión Española, the Chilean futsal committee announced the appointment of the argentinean coach Vicente De Luise (click here to know more) as trainer of the Under 20 team. Not a surprising news (and we would not be surprised about a future appointment for the "A" squad, but this is just our supposition and nothing more) considering that De Luise is well known by the ANFP management, having staged futsal coaching clinics in recent times. The appointment news was confirmed to Futsalplanet.com by Vicente De Luise some days ago: one more step ahead in a brilliant career devoted to futsal.
