Breaking records. Forty three nations will characterize the run for the Euro 2012 UEFA Futsal Championships title, 42 of them fighting in the qualifiers in the attempt to get one of the 11 tickets for Zagreb and Split, Croatia. In this new edition of the continental tournament there will be four new names, with San Marino, Switzerland, Norway and Iceland making their absolute debut on the european stage. That's a demonstration of the (slow but) constant progress of our sport, though we're still waiting for the last 10 nations to enjoy the party!

The official draw will take place on September 24th at 14.00CET: the only "bad point" of the qualifiers formula is given by the fact that just one runner up from the qualifying round (the second stage of the qualifiers, following the preliminary one) will miss the Croatia 2012 event.
