Stacy ThomasIT HAS taken the Kellyville High School girls futsal teams less than three years to achieve their dream.
It’s another year and they won both state championships - Football NSW and Vikings.
Coach Fabio Caprarelli said they were now focusing their efforts on the Australasian Championships in Queensland during October.
“It’s amazing. At the last event every other team had subs. We had none because of injury and illness and won,” he said. “We’ve beaten every other sporting high school in NSW and I think the girls are playing more tactically than this time last year.
“Plus their defence is far more aggressive.”
With the help of businesses like LJ Hooker Kellyville, the team is able to continue its surge towards the World School Championships in Brazil.
The side continue to train four times a week and in the lead up after stepping it up even more.
