Azerbaijan’s Araz futsal team starts participation in UEFA Cup

Araz futsal team The teams which take the first two places will have a right to take part in the Elite round.

The matches of the third group of the Main round of the UEFA Futsal Cup including Azerbaijani champion, third club of Europe by results of the last season Araz, start in Targu Muresh (Romania) today.

In the first match our team will play Irish club Sporting Fingal at 19.00. Latvian Nikars will be the opponent on September 29 and owner of the mini contest, local club Targu Muresh will be a rival on October 1.

The teams which take the first two places will have a right to take part in the Elite round.

The upcoming matches will be refereed by Luca Giacomin (Italy), Mariano Marcoski (Macedonia), Ivice Modrichu (Croatia) and Ivan Shabanov (Russia). UEFA delegates will be Ishtvan Khushar (Hungary) and Stephan Tivold (Slovenia).
