Quake Futsal gives Raiders a shake

Campbelltown City Quake Futsal took on the Western Raiders during the weekend in round two of the NSW Futsal Premier League.
Quake earned themselves seven wins and two losses to collect 21 championship points for the round.

The 12 Boys were the first loss of the day going down 4-3 in a close margin. Liam McGing scored two goals and Lachlan Rixon scored one.

The 12 Girls had a very convincing win downing Raiders 11-2.

Lauren Featherstone and Shania Pourrashidi each collected a hat trick with Mia Connors, Hannah Voloder, Bronte MacDonald, Hannah Davey and Tyler Garard each claiming one.

The 14 Boys won 5-0 Ben Rodriguez securing a hat trick and one goal each went to Jack Taseski and Anson Gilligan.

The 14 Girls had a tight 2-1 win with Jemma Crane and Laura Murtagh adding to the scoreline.

The 16 Boys had a 5-1 win with Nathan Clissold scoring two goals, and Shannon Fielding, Daniel Nelson, Nico Ortega also claiming one each.

The 16 Girls shut Raiders out completely with a 4-0 win, a hat trick to Sharon Walsh and one to Annika Chapman. The Youth Men won solidly 4-1 with goals to Matt Trotter, Reuben Agyei-Danso, Josh Curtain and Nathan Clissold.

The Open Women dominated with a 5-2 win, two goals to Linda Dudek and one a piece to Stephanie Haim, Zoeie Redman and Caitlin Jarvie.

In the last game of the day the Open Men lost a close but high scoring match 7-6.

Danny Martinez put away three and Dean Lockhart, Shane Soutter and Brendon Riley all got one.

Next week Quake play against Sydney Beneficia at Marrickville from 12.30pm.
