Araz gains third victory in UEFA futsal cup

The matches of the third group of the main round of UEFA Cup in futsal have ended in Targu Muresh (Romania).
Azerbaijan’s champion Araz defeated the local team Targu Muresh 3:1 in the final match of the group stage. All three matches for the Nakhchivan club were scored by Anderson.

In another match of our group Latvian Nikars beat Irish Sporting Fingal 4:1. Thus, Araz took the first place with nine points thus winning a place in the Elite round. Targu Muresh gained the second trip to the next stage.

Thanks to the fact that the Azerbaijani champion has reached the next stage from the first place, he will be among those separated during the Elite Round drawing.

Sporting (Portugal), Slov-Matic (Slovakia), Time (Ukraine), Iberia Star (Georgia), Chrudim (Czech Republic), Montesilvano (Italy), Ekonomac (Serbia), Akademia (Poland) also reached the Elite round. Two more teams will be defined today.

Meanwhile, four clubs will take direct part in the Elite round. These will be current champion Benfica (Portugal), Sinara (Russia), Kayrat (Kazakstan) and Murciaa (Spain).
