Boro on the lookout for new players

Trials are being held on Thursday 7th October at Teesside University from 7.20pm in the Olympia Building, main sports hall (behind library) and cost £2 per person.

The British University Champions are on a recruitment drive to bolster their squad ahead of this season's BUCS championships and their title defence.

Teesside University are the most successful University Futsal Team, having twice won the national title, and reaching the semi final and winning the BUCS trophy in the other two seasons of the competition's four year history.

Teesside have also produced five players who represented BUCS for Team GB in the World Universities Futsal Championship.

Middlesbrough and Teesside coach Damon Shaw will be in attendance to cast his eye over the hopefuls and will be looking for players who can represent both Teesside and Boro on a national level.
