Trinidad & Tobago Guardian$45,000 Futsal battle tomorrow at Tacarigua9 Oct 2010More than $45,000 in cash and prizes will be on offer when the second annual SW Futsal (five-a-side football) Invitational Tournament takes place at the Eastern Regional Sport Arena, Tacarigua tomorrow from 9.30 am.
As with the inaugural competition held in 2009 at the University of the West Indies Sports and Physical Education Centre (SPEC), sporting enthusiasts and football fans would be treated to 10 hours of football extravagance.
The founding organisers of this venture, SW Touring, has teamed up with the University of the West Indies Student Guild for this year’s one-of-kind sporting event.
The theme of this year’s event is Be Champions as men, women and youth teams nationwide battle for Futsal supremacy and bragging rights.
