Brunei II ‘B' Futsal Champion

Bandar Seri Begawan - A second half goal from Haimie Anak Nyaring was enough for Brunei II 'B' to be crowned champion of futsal at the 2nd Primary Schools Sports Festival when they beat Brunei II 'A' 1-0 at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium Multipurpose Hall in Berakas yesterday.

With the win, Brunei II 'B' grabbed the gold medal while the silver went to Brunei II 'A'.

Belait who beat Brunei III 1-0 in an earlier match won the bronze medal. Ak Abu Dzar Pg Zaidi scored the winning goal for Belait in a nail-biting match.

Meanwhile, Brunei II 'A' team captain Mohd Haziq Kasyful Azim Hasimul Abdillah was named the Best Player.

The guest-of-honour Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Hamid Haji Mohd Jaafar, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports gave away the trophies to the winners.
