CAMPBELLTOWN City Quake Futsal Club regrouped after a disappointing outing against Inner West Allstars to dominate Mascot Vipers in round five of the NSW Premier Futsal League at Minto Indoor Sports Centre on Saturday.

The home team claimed five wins and a draw for a tally of 16 important championship points.

But it wasn’t all Quake’s way, with five of the nine games decided by just one goal.

The Quake women dominated 7-1, with Linda Dudek putting away a hat-trick of goals, while James Pearce scored a double in the men’s 7-3 victory.

The 16-year-old boys provided the crowd edge-of-the-seat action, with Quake scraping home 5-4.

Leading 3-1 into the second half Quake momentarily lost their focus and suddenly had conceded three unanswered goals. They looked beaten at 4-3 down before their fighting spirit kicked in and they put away with the winner with just 25 seconds remaining on the clock. Campbelltown will take on Sydney City Eagles in round six action at Bankstown Basketball Stadium on Saturday. Games start at 1.15pm with the under-12 boys kicking off first. Youth men wrap up the round at 7.25pm.
