Futsal: 10 JBS Teams Eye Director's Cup

Bandar Seri Begawan - Ten teams from the Department of Youth and Sports (JBS) of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports are vying for top prizes at the Director's Cup Futsal Championship at the Indoor Stadium of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.

A total of 24 matches will be contested throughout the three-day tournament, participated by staff and officers of JBS.

Drawn in Group A are Prasarana A, Prasarana C, Youth Section, Sports Section C and the combined team of Administration and Temburong JBS.

Meanwhile, drawn in Group B are Sports Section A, Sports Section B, Prasarana B, Sports Medicine Section and Prasarana and Pool.

The semi-finals will be contested today at 3pm, with the third-place play-off and final slated for Nov3 at 7pm at the same venue.

One of the objectives of the tournament is to strengthen relations between JBS employees.

It is also to encourage its staff and officers to participate in sporting activities.

Prasarana B are the defending champions.
