After taking note of the official draw celebrated in Tripoli (attended by the local futsal committee president Alfred Ziaj) on past October 13th, the Albanian national team began their preparation for the prestigious event organized by the Libyan Futsal Committee. From two different pre-selections the national team head coach Ramazan Konçi has chosen the final roster of 14 players who will move towards Tripoli. Albania will miss the national champions of KF Tirana, involved in a friendly game in Italy against the second division club BPP Verona. Ramazan Konçi declared before the draw: "We're not on the same level as nations like Libya, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina or Slovenia and we don't want to face Cyprus, as they will be featuring our same group in the Euro 2012 Qualifiers (in Tampere, Finland). For sure we will try to show our best against all the other participants: the tournament aim is to obtain a good preparation, looking for Croatia 2012 qualifiers."
