Brilliant results for High School Futsal teams

Bellingen High School had three teams at the Australasian Schools Futsal Championships after qualifying through the first two rounds of zone and regional championships. This alone was an incredible achievement as we had more teams qualify the Championships than any other school.

The championships were held over three days from the 22nd to 24th October at Runaway Bay. Teams came from all over NSW, Queensland and New Zealand to compete against the best. All three BHS teams, the 16 years boys and girls and the 19 years girls, performed extremely well and all made the semi-finals of their respective competitions. Unfortunately, none of the teams went any further but top 4 at the National Championships is an outstanding result. A full report will be available next week. On top of this the 14 years girls have still to go to their Championships to be held on 19th to 21st November again at Runaway Bay.
