The Brunei team who fielded a very new set-up was first defeated by Vikings Futsal Malaysia 7-1 before losing 8-2 to New Zealand in the evening match.
Vikings Futsal Brunei team were two goals down in the first half against the Malaysian team through team captain Ahmad Bokhari's goal in the 17th and 19th minutes.
However it was totally a different story in the second half although Vikings Futsal Brunei managed to close the gap by scoring one goal a few minutes after the half time whistle to make the scoreline 2-1.
Muhammad Ulfi Aminuddin scored the consolation goal for Brunei team.
And just two minutes later, the remaining five goals fiesta of the Malaysian team who played their young national players started with a 12th minute goal before adding their fourth in the 14th minute due to Brunei players' lack of concentration.
The goals galore then continued in the 17h, 19th and 20th minutes.
In the evening match, it was totally the same story for the young Brunei players losing 8-2 to team New Zealand.
Muhammad Ulfi Aminuddin was on the scoresheet again scoring one goal for Brunei before Md Safwan Safri added Brunei's second.
Vikings Futsal Brunei's quest continued today with a match against team Australia and against China in the afternoon.
