League and youth futsal update

Scottish Futsal League

RESULTS (October 25): SFL League One – Perth Saltires 5, Wanderers 6; FC Bohemians 2, Deportivo Lacatalent 3; FC Santos 4, Breadalbane FC 6.

SFL League Two – FC Burghmuir 4, SDIF 0; FC Pumas 4, Sporting Branston 3; Hydro Inter 2, Borussia Celts 5.

Fixtures for Monday, November 1:

SFL League Two: 6.20pm – Sporting Branston v Borussia Celts; 7.00 – Perth City v FC Pumas; 7.40 – Zenit St Johnstoun v SDIF.

SFL League One: 8.20pm – Perth Saltires v Deportivo Lacatalent; 9.00 – FC Santos v Wanderers; 9.40 – Unreal Madrid v Bayern Bru.


Perth Youth Futsal

THE PYF Winter 2010 sessions resume tonight (Friday) at Bell’s Sports Centre with the next round of league games as well as the coaching sessions.

There is a change to the session times for that particular day.

Session times will be as follows: 7–8pm PYF Skillz School; 8–9pm 14/15 League and 9–10pm 16/17 league. Participation cost is ฃ2 per hourly session.

The PYF Saltires were in action last Monday night when they faced Wanderers in an important encounter and lost 6–5. They are next in action this coming Monday night when they face Deportivo Lacatalent in an 8.20pm encounter.

There are plans to hold another Level 1 course at the end of November, open to non-PYF coaches.

The first draw of the monthly PYF Tote takes place tonight (Friday).

Tickets for the PYF Xmas raffle are now available for sale. The draw takes place on Friday, December 17.

PYF are hosting an Alternative Burns Supper night on Friday, February 4, tickets are priced at ฃ15 each and are now available for sale.

Representatives from PYF were in Spain last week formalising links with some top Spanish Futsal and Football clubs, most notably FC Barcelona.
