A radical change. After taking part in the 3rd UNAF Cup with a selection (allowed by Algerian FA) coming from the Ligue de football de la Wilaya d'Oran (Oran Province Football League) Algeria will finally have a "real" national team in order to gain better results in the 1st Mediterranean Futsal Cup, starting tomorrow from the eagerly awaited match against France. It will be a kind of derby as this time the Algerian National Team will result as a selection of players coming from the French futsal league, with special refer to three clubs: Colmar CE, Champs sur Marne and Montpellier. As a curious note we have immediately to underline the presence in the list of Ali Bedredine, who just became a worldwide known player due to the unbelievable sanction of 91 years he got from the French Federation (click here to know more!), so that we wonder what can happen today against the blues.

According to a report published on the algerian media Competition the team was going to feature,as one of the "biggest names", also Said Meghni (who also represented French National Team AMF!), player of Champs sur Marne and brother of the well known algerian footballer Mourad Meghni. Though, according to the players list released by the 1st Mediterranean Futsa Cup Organizing body, the algerian player of Champs-sur-Marne will not be playing in Tripoli.
