Libya in semi-finals of Mediterranean championship

Mediterranean futsal championship - The national futsal team of Libya on Sunday qualified for the semi-finals of the maiden edition of Mediterranean Futsal championship taking place in Libya after beating Lebanon by 3-2. The Libyan team will Thursday play the French team which qualified after beating Tunisia 5-1.

The second semi-final will be Croatia, which eliminated Morocco 4-1, and Slovenia, a 6-1 winner against Bosnia Herzegovina.

Futsal, a six-a-side game (Futsalplanet note: Five!!), is a variant of association football that is played on a smaller playing surface and mainly played indoors.
