Azerbaijan’s Araz futsal club beats Ararat in UEFA cup

The games of the elite round of the UEFA Cup in futsal in group B started in Yekaterinburg (Russia).

Azerbaijan’s Araz, which is the third European team by results of the last season, met Cyprus Ararat and won 2:1.

Cypriots were first to open the score. On the 16th minute Zoltan Mikhali led Ararat forward. Our futsallers responded in the second time. Anderson and Felipe made the score 2:1 on the 29th and 33rd minutes respectively.

Russian VIZ-Sinara and Italian Montesilvano will play another match of the first round. Meanwhile, Araz will hold the next game with Montesilvano on November 23. Only the group winner will have a right to play in the Final of Four.
