New dates for African U-17 and Futsal Championships

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has amended the schedules for the Rwanda 2011 African U-17 Championship and the 2nd African Futsal Championship .

The cadet championship has been shifted forward by 24-hours and will now take place from 8-22 January, 2011 in Rwanda whilst the Futsal Championship will be held from 3-17 April in Burkina Faso.

The second edition of the Futsal Championship was initially slated for 15-27 December, 2010.

Gambia are the reigning champions of the African U-17 Championship, whilst Libya emerged winners of the maiden Futsal Championship on home soil in 2008.
