BSN FC the champs at Federal Secretary Cup tourney

Kota Kinabalu: Bank Simpanan Nasional FC (BSN FC) emerged as champions of the Sabah Federal Secretary Cup Futsal Tournament that ended at the Borneo Sports Arena in Kolombong, yesterday.

They defeated the State Accountant-General Department (JANM) 2-1 in the final.

Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) finished in third place after beating National Registration Department (NRD) 8-2.

The champions won RM1,000, a challenge trophy and medals, while JANM received RM800 plus medals and trophy.

TLDM and NRD won RM600 and RM400 respectively as well as medals and trophies.

Sabah Federal Secretary, Datuk Muhammad Hatta Abdul Aziz presented the prizes to the winners.

A total of 54 teams took part in the one-day tournament.
