Futsal Camp for girls ages 8-11 in Redmond December 27-29

Coach Andy Schmetzer and his Crossfire GU16 ECNL team are excited to offer a three-day FUTSAL CAMP FOR GIRLS aged 8-11 on December 27, 28 and 29th.

Futsal is a fast paced, five-a-side soccer game played in a space and surface similar to a basketball court. Many of the world’s best players grew up playing futsal. The game develops foot skills and speed of play (and is a fun alternative to outdoor soccer in the middle of winter!) Campers wear court shoes and play with a smaller ball with less bounce which creates emphasis on technique, ball control and passing.

The curriculum has been developed by Andy, who played on the US National Futsal Team and represented the US in the FIFA World Futsal Championships. The first two days will consist of instruction and skill training while the third day will be dedicated to a "World Cup" tournament.

Location: Eastside Basketball Club - 17455 NE 67th Ct., Redmond

Date and Time: December 27-29th, 9-12 AM (8-9 years of age 9:00-10:30 am; 10-11 years of age 10:30-12:00 noon)
Cost: $75
