Luca Ranocchiari - Futsalplanet.com editorWorking for the Croatian dream. The
Kazakh National team coached by
Amirzhan Mukanov began their preparation for the february "big challenges", with obvious refer to the UEFA Futsal Championships 2010 Qualifiers, in which
Kazakhstan will move to Baku in order to face the qualifying round group 1 host
Azerbaijan, as well as the continental holders
Spain and the preliminary group D (Malta as host, Lithuania, France and Bulgaria) winner. Rather than testing their current conditions in friendlies vs other national selection,
Mukanov has chosen a "russian trip" characterized by four games against two superleague clubs. The first couple of games took place in Novosibirsk (Dec. 7th and 8th, 50 minute match in "russian style"), with Kazakhstan losing the first 5-2 but conquering the second clash by 4-6. Three days later the national selection was in Tyumen, playing on December 11th and 12th two more games (this time in the 40 minutes way) vs the top russian clubs MFK Tyumen, losing twice (2-1 and 6-3). Below have a look at the roster selected by head coach
Amirzhan Mukanov for all games: as you can see Kazakhstan is featuring a quite young team which is a direct consequence of their participation in the Under 21 UEFA Futsal Tournament 2008 in St. Petersburg.
