Luca Ranocchiari - Futsalplanet.com editorSomething new from Brazil, where the
Brazil vs
World Stars game has been replaced by a 100% brazilian challenge. In order to close one more great season of national futsal,
CBFS has organised an interesting double clash between the greatest athletes currently playing in their native country and their colleagues who're helping foreign clubs in reaching the highest level of their own leagues (mainly european). Below have a look at both roster, the "national" one and the "foreign" squad, completed by the
Indio's couple (both the fixo and the pivot, beeing the second sometimes indicated as Indiao in recent times, since they played together with Barcel Euro Puebla in Spain).
The first battle, which took place in Santos (SP), went to the national stars (
3-2 the final score) thanks to an impressive comeback. The "international" roster went ahead
0-2 through
Indião just after 53 seconds and scored the second goal with
Pula, when just 2 minutes and 12 seconds were gone. The national stars managed to change the game just in the second half:
Lenísio (what a wonderful goal!) and
Thiaguinho (double) were the key.
The second act was staged on december 28th in São Bernardo do Campo (SP), ending with a
3-3 tie. Once again
Pula was on target for the foreign stars, scoring the first goal of the game after almost 4 minutes. The 1-1 goal came with Malwee's
Leco, while
Gadeia gave national stars a first half minimal advantage.
Pixote did the 3rd "national" goal and that seemed to be the sign of one more triumph for the local players squad, but finally
Indio and
Robinho fixed the final score, with no winners nor losers.
