San Marino is running fast (and how could be otherwise with former motorcycle world champion Manuel Poggiali in the roster?)

Development is the key, results will come later. But San Marino is there to improve and the national team head coach Luciano Mularoni is absolutely confident about his team chances in Finland, country in which the sammarinense roster will make its continental debut during the Croatia 2012 qualifiers preliminary round, group E (Finland, Cyprus, Albania as opponents).
In preparation for the finnish travel, San Marino played on past december two historical games vs Montenegro in Serravalle (SMA), which can be recorded as the little nation debut in modern futsal, after a friendly game against Italy in the quite far year 1985. Coach Mularoni, despite of the heavy scores (and the disappointment for the serious injury of the starting five goalie Davide Agostini) of both games lost to the Sveto Ljesar most experienced team, was satisfied at the end of the double challenge, above all with regard to the first game (Michelotti (2) and Mularoni the home team scorers).

Below you can find the San Marino 18 men roster used during the friendlies vs Montenegro, which included the former 125cc (2001) and 250cc (2003) motorcycle world champion Manuel Poggiali, currently a Pennarossa c5 player in the futsal league of San Marino.
