Top sportsman presents prizes at Devizes

England’s Futsal captain Luke Ballinger presented the prizes at Devizes School’s sixth form presentation evening

Mr Ballinger presented cups and other awards for achievements in exams, in school and in the wider community, in addition to A level certificates.

The Pat Rugg Prize for the best A level results was presented to Chris Mowatt in recognition of his exceptional achievement in gaining five A levels, three at the new A* grade and two at A grade.

Chris, who is now studying physics at Exeter University, was also awarded the Tamura Hinchley cup for Physics.

The Lucas Bursary, donated by former member of staff June Lucas, was presented to Matthew Wiltshire. Matthew, who starts a maths degree at Bath University in September, was also awarded the Cross Manufacturing Cup for Mathematics.
