Armenian futsal team leaves for Iceland

Tomorrow Armenian futsal national team will leave for Iceland to participate in the matches of Group B, UEFA European Futsal Championship preliminary round. The matches of Group B participants - Armenia, Iceland, Greece and Latvia - will take place on January 21-24. Six groups of four teams are played as one-venue mini-tournaments between 20 and 24 January 2011. The group winners progress to the qualifying round.

Armenian futsal team to participate in preliminary round of UEFA Futsal EURO 2012

On January 19, Armenia’s futsal team will leave for Iceland to participate in the preliminary round of the UEFA Futsal EURO 2012.

Armenia will rival Iceland, Greece and Latvia in Group B on January 21-24. Only the group winner will qualify for the next round.

Chief Coach of the Armenian team Ruben Nazaretyan invited 14 sportsmen to the team.

Armenia will compete with Greece in the first match on January 14, the press service of the Armenian Football Federation told PanARMENIAN.Net
