Inter-Ministry Sports Festival: Futsal

The Inter-Ministry Sports Festival in conjunction with the 17th Civil Service Day

Last night the special category of the futsal event, saw five ministries vying for top honours, namely the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

The participants comprised the Permanent Secretaries, Deputy Permanent Secretaries, heads of Departments and top level senior officers from the ministries mentioned. The round robin tournament saw five matches. The Ministry of Defence defeated the Ministry of Education in the white jerseys, 2-nil.

The Prime Minister's Office won their match against the Minister of Culture,Youth and Sports in the green jerseys, 2-nil.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs' win against the Ministry of Defence was nullified due to technical problems.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports in green trounced the Ministry of Education, 3-nil.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs win in the second match against the Prime Minister's Office was also nullified due to technical problems.
