Azerbaijani futsal team beats Uzbekistan, Latvia

Two rounds have already been played in Baku within the fourth Baku international futsal contest with participation of four national teams.

In the first round it played the Uzbek team. Our futsallers win 5:3. After the first round Uzbeks were winning 3:0. However, the process of the match fully changed after the interval. Azerbaijani players scored five goals. Rizvan Farzaliyev and Vitaliy Borisov excelled two times. Tiago scored one goal.

Meanwhile, yesterday Jose Alecio da Silva’s team beat Lithuania – 7:1. The guests were first to open the score. But Elvin Guliyev and Serjio drew our team forth already in the first time. After the interval the Azerbaijani team continued to hold initiative and could hit the goals of the Baltic team five times. Vitaliy Borisov made a hat trick and thus excelled along with Biro Jade and Serjao.

The Ukrainian team gained two victories by beating Latvia (5:1) and Uzbekistan (1:0). The contest winner will be defined in the confrontation between the Azerbaijani and Ukrainian teams to be held on 8 February. Both teams had 6 points, but the gap between the scored and missed goals is better in our team, therefore, the draw will be enough.
