Futsal registration evening tomorrow

The Glen Innes Futsal Association will hold a registration evening tomorrow.

The event will be held at the Glen Innes Showground Basketball Pavillion from 4pm.

Futsal is an adapted brand of indoor football that has taken off worldwide.

The game has already enjoyed large success in towns such as Tamworth and Armidale.

Futsal is completely new to Glen Innes and organisers are encouraging members of the community to get behind the sport and nominate a team.

It is great for fitness and for developing new skills.

Sub juniors interested in playing, which is 4-6 years can sign up between 4 and 4:30pm.

Juniors, 7-9 years 4:30-5pm, 10-12 years 5-6pm and 13-15 years 6-7pm.

Seniors, which is 16 years an above can register from 7pm onwards.
