Futsal Challenge for Yoga Cruze trophy

The inaugural quadrangular futsal soccer tournament for the Yoga Cruze Challenge Trophy will be played at St Joseph’s College Ground (Beira Ground) Colombo 10 from 2 pm to 6 pm on Saturday.

The plate trophy on offer has been named after Dr Anton Mariadasan. Four teams will vie for honours at the tournament which is organized by Old Joes SC in collaboration with the Soccer Advisory Committee of St Joseph’s College.

The teams in the fray are - Old Joes SC, Old Bens SC, Old Peterites SC and Old Thomians SC. An old Josephian skipper and ex Old Joes SC president D L H Ganlath is the main sponsor of the event.

St Joseph’s College Rector Rev Fr Sylvester Ranasinghe will be the chief guest.
