Almaty setting for Futsal Cup semi-final draw

Hosts Kairat Almaty, holders SL Benfica, their Lisbon rivals Sporting Clube de Portugal and Italian debutants ASD Città di Montesilvano C/5 await Wednesday's semi-final draw in Almaty.

The UEFA Futsal Cup finalists will learn their last-four opponents on Wednesday when the draw is made at the Baluan Sholak Sport Palace in Almaty.

Kazakhstan is staging its first UEFA final tournament and home club Kairat Almaty are aiming to make it through the last four at their fourth attempt. Standing in their way are holders SL Benfica, the latter's Lisbon rivals Sporting Clube de Portugal and Italian debutants ASD Città di Montesilvano C/5.

Taking place at half-time of the friendly between Kairat and Santos FC of Brazil, which gets under way at 14.00CET (19.00 local time), the draw will be made by the mayor of Almaty, Akhmetzhan Yesimov, and the 2004 FIFA Futsal Player of the Year, Santos and Brazil striker Falcão.

The semi-finals will be played at 14.30 and 17.00CET (19.30 and 22.00 local) on Friday 29 April, two days before the third-place play-off at 11.00CET (16.00 local) and the final at 13.30CET (18.30 local) on Sunday 1 May. All the games will be live on Eurosport.
