Zebra 'B' U-21 Futsal Champion

Bandar Seri Begawan - Team Zebra 'B' emerged victorious in the fun one-day Under-21 Futsal Tournament after beating Bolos FT 2-0 in the final match held at the Multipurpose Hall of the Universiti Brunei Darussalam over the weekend.

Ak Mohd Haikal Pg Mazidi scored Zebra ‘B' first goal in the first half before Mohammad Aesamuddin completed the handsome 2-0 win by scoring in the dying minutes of the second half.

Finishing in third place were 39th Street FT who beat Temburong Under-21 team 1-0: 39th Street FT's goalie Abd Rahman Emzah scored the winning goal for his team in the first minute of the first half through a penalty lack.

Meanwhile, team Zebra ‘B' goal-scorer Ak Mohd Haikal was selected as the 'Best Player' while 39'h Street FT goalkeeper Abd Rahman was chosen as the 'Best Goalkeeper'.

Champion Team Zebra ‘B' received cash prizes and trophies, while second place, Bolos FT won cash prize and third place 39" Street FT took home a futsal ball.

Present to hand over the prizes and trophies was the tournament's chairman Hj Norikhwan Mohamad Rusli.

According to the organiser, more than 35 players who played in the tournament have been shortlisted to attend training to represent Brunei Muara District in the upcoming Youth Sports Festival in June.

A total of 20 futsal teams took part in the tournament.
