35 teams in Futsal Carnival

MIRI: Thirty five teams kicked off the Piasau Youth Friendship Futsal Carnival in Indoor Stadium here last Wednesday.
The competition themed Sarawak Youth Friendship for One Youth, One Malaysia, is jointly organised by Piasau youth and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Dr George Chan kicked off the first match between WaSUPP Pemuda and RT Piasau.

The four-day competition from March 23-26 is divided into eight groups and matches for the first round will start 7pm.

The quarter-finals, semi-finals and the final will be played on Sunday morning.
