V8 wins futsal tourney

SIBU: V8 won the men’s title in the Sibu-Adidas Futsal 2011 tournament here recently.
T2 team were the runners-up with Watzario in third spot.

In the women’s final, D’Viva Syco II defeated D’Viva Syco I to lift the title. JPAM were third.

The champions and runners-up of the two categories will represent Sibu Division in the Malaysia Futsal Championship in Miri, starting April 26.

Sibu Division Football Association (SDFA) secretary Abdul Hajis Abdullah and his assistant, Mary Vavian Kurum gave away the prizes. A total of 12 teams took part.
